Guy Cuevas - Obsession (Island Records 1982)

Cuban born Guy Cuevas was a DJ at club 'The Palace' in Paris and recorded this fantastic track in 1982.
His 'Obsession' is a sublime hispanic boogie tune with smooth vocals, a splendid bassline and catchy refrain.
Steven Stanley and the legendary Francois Kevorkian contributed to the record with their outstanding Nassau mix.
The record was first aired on french radio by D'bora and Bobby M, who were artists themselves and disc-jockeys
on Canal 89, a local funk station in Paris. Special thanks goes out to my friend and fellow collector Jean Claude
from Paris who made me discover this beauty and provided the valuable information about Guy Cuevas.
As a matter of fact he got his own copy from the artist himself. Released in France only.
