Onstage - Why (Omnibus Records 1986)

Onstage was a band from Chicago and consisted of Michael Logan, Larry Kimpel,
Dana Goodman, Marsha Miller, Willie Simmons, Thurman Morgan and Chippito Hardy.
In 1979 the very talented Byron Woods joined the band. In the early 80's, Onstage released
their first single for the Sock recordlabel entitled 'Who You Really Are'/'Hooked On Your Love'.
In 1984, they released 'She's A Lady (Of The Night)' and in 1986 and 1987 they released two
singles on Omnibus of which you see one above. 'Why' is on the b side of a ballad and is an
excellent and rare modern soul dancer. In 1989 the group Onstage disbanded.
